The best way to maintain your Sakré products is to air and keep them dry. Please care for them the way you would with any woolen item.
To remove a stain, you can clean the stained area with a damp cloth or felt wool soap. Remember to let it air dry each time.
Hand-wash using tepid water (30° C) and mild detergent. Rinse with clean cold water, let it drip off or spin dry. You can use a towel to absorb excess water. Wear them while still damp and pad with your hands into shape. Lay them flat to dry.
Washing in the washing machine is recommended only if you have experience in washing woolen.
NOTES:
Washing wool is entirely at your own risk.
In the first days of use your Sakré products will shed, which means that the coarsest wool fibers and occasional vegetable fibers will work themselves out of the felt. These you can safely pluck off. This happens often with most woolen items and you can shave them off or cut with scissors.
As with all other wool products, you can store your Sakré products in a Sakré bag by tying them tightly to protect them from moths in warm weather.
